After affects was frustrating at first to get a hang of everything, though once i was able to understand better what i was doing, it made things a lot easier. This was good for getting the feel of the program and understanding how to work it, as it differs in a lot of ways from both Photoshop and Animate in a lot of ways. It was helpful that the stopwatch function was pretty familiar from using it in Photoshop.
